Interviewer

Hello, everyone, and welcome to CXO Insights. We are here at LEAP 2026, and I’m joined by D3’s Faisal Qureshi. Welcome, Faisal.

Faisal Qureshi

Thank you very much. Thank you for having me here.

D3’s Approach to Distribution in Saudi Arabia

Interviewer

Thank you for joining us.

Let’s start with D3’s approach to distribution. Can you tell us how you differentiate the business and identify the real gaps in the market?

Faisal Qureshi

Right, that’s a very good question.

Actually, D3, which is Dominant Digital Distribution, has established its first footprint here in Saudi Arabia this year. We are a Dubai-based, UAE-based organisation.

What we see here is that there are many niche gaps in the Saudi market. It is a large market for both ICT and surveillance, and the product portfolio we carry is more solution-oriented.

We understand the gaps in the market and the customers’ pain points. We then work very closely with channel partners to fill those gaps using technology and the best-of-breed vendors we have brought on board.

We do not want to be a box mover like a typical traditional distributor. We want to be a more solution-oriented distribution company, and that is what we are offering here in the Saudi market.

Opportunities for Channel Partners in the Kingdom

Interviewer

Where do you see the biggest opportunities for channel players here in the Kingdom?

Faisal Qureshi

As we have seen over the past couple of years, the Saudi market is primarily dominated by AI, data, surveillance and digital infrastructure.

These are the four or five areas in which we are working with channel partners, and these are the types of vendors we are bringing on board.

For example, Quantum is one of our leading flagship products. They are leaders in AI, data infrastructure, storage and backup solutions.

What we see is that government and semi-government sectors here in Saudi Arabia, as well as the oil and gas and service industries, are moving onto digital platforms. Digital infrastructure is therefore key to the future.

Of course, it is a combination of AI and digital infrastructure. What we have to offer includes data solutions, data backup and data archiving, creating an ecosystem around AI, data and digital infrastructure.

There are obviously many opportunities for channel players to provide value to customers here in the Kingdom.

How D3 Supports Channel Partners

Interviewer

As you build your presence here in Saudi Arabia, what role do you ultimately want D3 to play?

Faisal Qureshi

We want to work very closely with channel partners. As I mentioned earlier, we are not a box-moving company.

We need to support our channel partners by providing training, pre-sales consultancy, solution design and implementation. Of course, we also work with them and their end users.

We protect their deals, but we want to work alongside them as a partner—not as a system integrator or reseller—to offer those solutions to end users.

We bring the vendors we work with on board, train channel partners in those technologies and try to offer the best-of-breed solutions to our customers and end users.

Closing Remarks
